The transmission of our know-how is a value that is an integral part of our company. This value is shared and passed on by each collaborator in our daily life. We work with the aim of training the younger generations and enlightening them about the various professions in the industrial sector. We strive to highlight gender parity in professions that are sometimes considered predominantly male. That is why every year, FACTEM integrates interns and apprentices into its various teams: research and development, methods, production, and procurement. To formalize this commitment, FACTEM signs the NAE (Normandie Aerospace) charter in collaboration with the Agency for Orientation and Professions upon joining the cluster. To concretize its commitment, various actions are supported by FACTEM throughout the year.

Elles Bougent for Orientation

During the third edition of "Elles Bougent for Orientation," two collaborators from our teams, a research and development technician, and a mechanical engineer, visited a high school in Saint Valéry en Caux on December 8th to present their career paths, their profession, and their daily lives in the industry to young women. This exchange afternoon aimed to share experiences about the world of work and the feminization of certain professions previously considered predominantly male.

Destination Métier / My Job Glasses

In accordance with the NAE charter and the Agency for Orientation and Professions, FACTEM is committed to the younger generations in search of information on specific training or professions. To concretize the signing of this charter, various representatives from our company's services are present on the "Destination Métier" platform to guide and answer the questions of young people in search of orientation. These exchanges allow young people to better understand a work environment, the tasks performed, and the different training paths possible to reach their desired profession. Thus, FACTEM is also present on the My Job Glasses platform to share its experience, know-how, and the backstage of its industrial professions. It is in this perspective that we were present to sponsor a BIA diploma award ceremony at the Atrium in Rouen for the 2023 promotion. 200 young Normans were welcomed during this day and were able to discover the professions and future possibilities in the Normandy aeronautical sector.

Industry Week

On the occasion of Industry Week, FACTEM hosted a fourth-grade class from Alain Chartier College in Bayeux in its premises. The students were able to visit the production factory and discover products intended for the aerospace, naval, and land sectors. It was also an opportunity for them to discover the various professions that make up a company in the industry, both in operations and in support functions.

Throughout the year, we are present at job and training fairs in Normandy and Île-de-France. Accompanied by NAE or Aéro-Recrute (initiated by GIFAS), FACTEM listens to candidates in search of internships, apprenticeships, or permanent positions.
