For many years, FACTEM has been committed to the learning of the younger generations. It is within this framework that Dany and Sarah joined the company to pursue their apprenticeship. Discover their testimonials on their experience within our company:

Dany Malo, Digital Assistant Apprentice:

"I initially joined Factem for a 10-week internship, which allowed me to complete my DUT (University Technology Diploma). I decided to continue my studies with a Bachelor of Engineering, and it was for this degree that I stayed on as a digital assistant apprentice at Factem for one year. During this apprenticeship year, I undertook various missions that allowed me to explore the diverse aspects of IT in a business setting. I worked extensively on project management for the creation and management of a website with an associated e-commerce platform. I developed reporting dashboards and automated performance indicators from raw data. Throughout this year, I had the opportunity to explore different facets of the aerospace industry by providing IT support to the company's 60 employees. This experience was very enriching and allowed me to gain a lot of autonomy and better time management skills. As my first professional experience, I also learned a great deal about the functioning of a company in general. In conclusion, what characterizes Factem the most, in my opinion, is its human-scale approach."

Sarah Lechevalier, Methods and Continuous Improvement Apprentice:

"After completing a 3-month internship at FACTEM during my DUT, I continued my education in the company as an apprentice in the Methods and Continuous Improvement department in September 2021. Simultaneously, I am undergoing industrial engineering training at ITII in Vernon. During these three years of apprenticeship, I have two main missions. The first involves managing 5S projects within the company. I audited the company and proposed areas for improvement. To track progress, I also created a management tool in Excel to optimize our work. My second mission is overseeing a complete project on a new product created by the company. I am working on the layout of workstations in the production line, as well as creating specifications for a control bench and production operating procedures. The apprenticeship has allowed me to reaffirm my choices and benefit from a professional network from my first experience. I have developed the necessary knowledge for the position I aim to hold in future experiences while also honing soft skills such as communication and organization. I believe that Factem still has many development opportunities to offer, and I look forward to applying my ideas to contribute to its growth."
